How a repair visit works

We keep things simple and transparent. When you call or message us, tell us the brand, model and what the unit is doing, plus any error code on the screen. That often lets us arrive with the right parts on board.

On site we:

• Test how the system is actually performing, indoors and out
• Trace the fault to its real cause rather than guessing
• Check refrigerant levels, electrics, drainage and airflow
• Explain what we have found in plain English and what the fix involves
• Carry out the repair where we can, or order the part if it is not a common one

Many faults on the coast trace back to the local environment. Salt air near the sea corrodes outdoor units, fine dust clogs filters and coils, and homes left closed over winter often come back to life with blocked drains or tired components. A repair is the right moment to catch these before they become bigger bills.

Repair or replace? Honest advice

Not every fault is worth fixing, and we will never push you toward an expensive replacement you do not need. If your unit is reasonably modern and the repair is sensible, we fix it and you carry on. If the system is very old, inefficient or would need costly parts, we tell you honestly and lay out your choices, including a new installation if that genuinely makes more sense over time.

Regular care also prevents many breakdowns in the first place. Once your system is running well again, a yearly service keeps filters, coils and drains clean and catches small issues early, which matters a lot in our hot, dusty, salty climate.
